Lady with a Diamond Earring

In this portraiture (16"x20"), I tried to capture the likeness and feeling of my dear wife, Lih Jen. She was happy to be my model and sat well for the entire session. After much work, I finally finished the painting and she approved it, although she also said, "I look better than it in the picture." To which, I replied, "of course!"
